Terms of sale

What you buy, and what we promise.

Subscriptions, founder licenses, packs and services: the rules, written plainly.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

1. Who sells

Parlamain is a service published by Younes El Khiati, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), under the brand The Hubtimist, 7B chemin du Forage, 34800 Octon, France, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 999 742 943. Contact: contact@parlamain.com.

VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: the prices shown are the prices you pay.

2. What these terms cover

They apply to every purchase on parlamain.com: subscriptions, founder licenses, pilot packs and “We do it for you” services. They apply to businesses and to private individuals; where a rule only concerns consumers, we say so.

By confirming an order, you accept these terms in the version in force that day. We recommend saving or printing them.

The Parlamain Chrome extension stays free to record and follow a lesson; free use is not a sale.

This English version is provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.

3. The offers

Each plan includes what the Pricing page describes on the day of your order (number of courses, tours, sites, screenshots, trainers). “Unlimited” means unlimited within normal training or presentation use, without reselling the service to third parties.

“We do it for you” services are covered by a quote stating what is delivered, the price and the timeframe.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros, excluding VAT. The price that applies is the one shown when you order.

Card payments are processed by Stripe: we never see or store your card number. Licenses and packs can also be paid by bank transfer on request; access opens once payment is received.

An invoice is emailed after each payment.

5. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are monthly or yearly, with no commitment beyond the paid period. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from your account or by writing to contact@parlamain.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current, already paid period; no partial refund is made.

For yearly subscriptions taken by a consumer, we email you one to three months before renewal, with the deadline to cancel.

Launch offer: the reduced price obtained by the first subscribers is kept as long as the subscription is not interrupted. After cancellation, a new subscription is charged at the current price.

6. Founder licenses

A founder license gives access, for a one-time payment, to the plan it names (Trainer, School, Showcase or Communication), with that plan’s limits on the day of purchase. Their number is limited: 100 Trainer, 50 School, 100 Showcase and 50 Communication licenses.

“For life” means: for as long as the Parlamain service is operated by us or by anyone who takes over the service. It is not a term tied to the holder’s life.

Included: improvements and new features added to that plan. Not included: higher plans, new products separate from Parlamain, custom services, and costs charged by third parties you choose to use (a domain name, for example).

The license is tied to one account. It cannot be resold or transferred, except with our written consent or when your business is transferred.

We will always do our best to give holders the maximum of services for life at this price. We are a young company: our forecasts may meet a different reality, and we commit to honouring this promise to the best of our capacity. This is an obligation of means.

If we had to shut the service down for good, we would give at least six months’ notice and let you export your lessons, tours and data. If the shutdown happens less than 12 months after your purchase, we refund the unused share of the license, prorated over 12 months.

We cannot reduce, on our own, what an already sold license includes. In case of serious and repeated breach of these terms (resale, fraudulent use), the license may be suspended after a formal notice left unanswered for 30 days.

7. Pilot packs and services

The pilot pack gives access to the Trainer plan for three months, for a group of up to 100 students. It does not renew automatically.

For “We do it for you” services, you provide the access and information we need; the quoted timeframe starts when we receive them. Delivery includes a round of corrections specified in the quote.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, you have 14 days from the order to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to contact@parlamain.com.

If you ask for the service to start before that period ends, you keep the right to withdraw, but you owe the amount matching the service provided until you withdraw. For a service fully performed before the period ends, at your express request and with your acknowledgement that you lose this right, withdrawal is no longer possible.

We refund within 14 days, using the payment method you used.

This right does not apply to purchases made for a business activity.

9. What we commit to

We do our best to keep the service available and working properly, and to fix reported issues quickly. Short interruptions may happen for maintenance, announced in advance when possible.

For consumers, the statutory conformity guarantees for digital content and services apply (articles L224-25-1 and following of the French Consumer Code).

10. Your content and your students’ data

Your lessons, tours, texts and screenshots remain yours. You only allow us to host and display them to run the service.

You are responsible for what you record and publish: rights over the tools and images shown, no confidential data or passwords in screenshots, compliance with the law.

For your students’ or visitors’ data, you are the controller and we act as processor, under article 28 of the GDPR. Details are in our privacy policy.

11. Synthetic voices

Neural voices are produced in the browser from models and recordings released under open licenses by their authors. Credits:

Device voices are provided by your browser or operating system, under their own terms.

12. Liability

For business customers, our liability is limited to direct damage and, in total, to the amounts you paid us over the last twelve months (for a founder license: the license price).

For consumers, these limits apply only as far as the law allows.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Account holders are notified by email at least 30 days in advance. For a subscription, the new version applies at the next renewal; you can cancel before then if it doesn’t suit you. A change cannot reduce what an already purchased founder license includes.

14. Complaints, mediation and governing law

Write to us first at contact@parlamain.com: we reply within 15 days.

If you are a consumer and the disagreement continues, you can refer it free of charge to a consumer mediator; their details will be shown here as soon as we have joined one, and are available on request at contact@parlamain.com.

These terms are governed by French law. Between businesses, the courts of Montpellier have sole jurisdiction. A consumer may go to the court of their home or of our registered office.
